What Toonino is

Toonino turns an idea into a story video or a picture book for children. The writing, the pictures, the voices, the music and the animation are made by AI models, step by step, and you approve each step. Toonino is run by the team behind it. The legal name and the address of the company that runs it will be listed here as soon as its registration is complete.

Who can use it

• You must be 18 or older. Accounts are for parents, teachers and creators; children do not sign up.
• An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself; what is done with your account is your responsibility.
• Give an email address that is yours, so that we can reach you about your account.

Credits and plans

• Work in the studio is paid for in credits: every piece of work (a story, a drawing, a recording, a clip) takes credits, and the studio says how many before larger pieces of work begin.
• When a piece of work fails on our side, its credits are given back.
• Credits are not money: they cannot be exchanged for cash or passed to another account.
• Credits that were given for free, for example with an invitation, can be taken back if they are misused.

The plans on the site say how many credits come with each of them. Paid plans cannot be bought yet. Before the first one can be bought, the terms of payment, renewal and refunds will be added to this page.

What you bring

Your ideas, your texts, your photos and your drawings stay yours. You allow us to store them and to work with them as far as the service needs, which includes sending them to the AI models that do the work (see the Privacy page).

• Add only what you have the right to use. That holds for photos, for drawings, and for the text and the pages of a book.
• Add a photo of a child only if you are the child’s parent or legal guardian.

What the studio makes for you

The videos, books, pictures, recordings and music the studio makes for you are yours to use, also on YouTube and other platforms and also to earn money with, as far as the law and the terms of the AI companies allow. We claim no rights in them beyond what we need to keep them for you and show them to you.

Two things you should know: an AI can give something similar to another person who asks for something similar, and in some countries a work made by an AI is not protected by copyright. We cannot promise either.

What is not allowed

Toonino is made for stories for young children. Do not use it for:

• violence, frightening or sexual content, hatred, or anything else that is not suitable for children;
• a real person’s face or name without that person’s permission;
• brands, logos or characters that belong to someone else;
• anything that is against the law;
• breaking, overloading or copying the service, making accounts by machine, or selling access to it.

The studio checks ideas and may turn one down. We may remove content and close an account that breaks these rules.

Check before you show or publish

AI makes mistakes: a wrong word, an odd picture, a voice that mispronounces a name. Watch every video and read every book yourself before you show it to a child or publish it. What you publish is your responsibility, and so are the rules of the platform you publish on, such as marking a video as made for children or as made with AI where that is asked for.

The examples on the site

The examples and the ready-made stories are there for you to make your own versions inside the studio. The pictures and videos shown on the site itself remain ours.

Changes and availability

We work on the studio all the time: features and AI models may change, be replaced or be removed, and the site may be unavailable for a while. We take care of your work, but download the videos and books that matter to you and keep your own copies.

Ending

You can stop using Toonino at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or misuses the service.

Our responsibility

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise that it is free of errors or that every result will be what you hoped for.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost income or lost data, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the event, or 50 euros when you paid nothing.

Nothing here takes away rights that the consumer law of your country gives you and that cannot be given up.

Law

These terms are under the law of the Republic of Kosovo, and disputes go to the courts of Prishtina, unless the consumer law of your country says otherwise.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, this page gets a new date. If a change matters for you, we tell you by email before it applies; if you keep using the service after that, you accept it.
